Seasons greetings to all.

I've not been on this board for a year yet, but I've learned a lot, enjoyed the occasional ribbing (think ribbies are a meaningless stat) and working phrases like BABIP and WAR into my everyday conversation.  Thanks to all. It'll be fun the first time we crack .500 to say "I remember arguing over the Drew Storen pick."   Thanks for some fun.

Oh - and the Christmas haul?  My nephew got revenge for the time I gave him "Lies and the Lying Liars that Tell Them."  I will have to read "Arguing with Idiots" by the most popular Beck since Beck, or, if you are old enough, the real Beck.

Jeff Beck wrote a book?

Bah Humbug!  I still can't believe no GM was bad enough to get Uggla in his stocking.

And then after telling Josh Johnson they won't move beyond a 3-year deal with a pitcher because it is a matter of policy, Beinfest then immediately forgets his own policy and offers a 5-year deal to Aroldis Chapman just to please JJ further.

It's only baseball.  I hope everyone has enjoyed wonderful holidays.
