It's crazy how few Mets fans have been at the games this series. They used to pack the park.

What a bad team with no future. Both their AA and AAA teams are in last place. They don't have many prospects at all worth a darn.
I wonder how badly the Madoff stuff will hurt them. The Wilpons took quite a pounding financially.

They've had some unfortunate injuries, but we all knew Minaya was bankrupting the system.

Omar Minaya is Jim Bowden with a payroll.

good catch, Josh.

77 pitches (54 strikes) through 6 for John. 12 groundouts - 6 flyouts.

I'd like to see him go 8.

A few quick outs might get him the CG.  I don't want to see much of the bullpen in this one considering Clippard pitched last night, I'd hate to see Villone blow up this rare chance at a w.

Wow, Nieves almost gets a jack, and earns a walk as Perez fears the wilmeister.

I forgot about him.  I'm not used to having a few solid relievers in the pen.

Do Carp and Dibble think that Halladay can win say 20 games in the second half? :bang:

Dibbs is crazy if he thinks Doc can push the Mutts into the playoffs.

He would be a huge addition to Philly though and would make them an immediate favorite to repeat.

Debbi Taylor will ask him after the game how it felt to pitch deep into the game.  :?
