Nope...not since 2005.

I like him. It's pretty much a fact that it was his eyes that were messing him up. He's a solid hitter now. Just not very durable.

Did you guys see the foul ball that landed on somebody's tray?  This girl was coming down the steps with a tray of beer and nachos, and the ball landed right on top, sending beer and nachos everywhere.

I blame Lenny for Pena's inability to hit anything but fastballs. Work with these guys, Lenny! It really is correctable.

Now they are showing the cleanup crew sweeping up the mess.  Most of the beer landed in her hair.

Willie Harris is Willie Mays compared to Nieves. Career .155 hitter coming into this game.

I can't say I have any confidence in Ayala...  he's definitely not '05 Ayala anymore.

Then again, what am I saying?  I don't have confidence in anyone on this team right now.

Nice to have Nieves in w/ Hanley on base. Best defensive catcher in our system.

Give credit to Girardi for that bunt by Ramirez.  Hanley hated to bunt, and wouldn't practice bunting.  So Girardi had him bunting even with 2 strikes until he finally broke down and learned to bunt.

King warming up.

Please tell me you're talking about Martin Luther King's legacy or something...

Mickah Bowie pitched 2 scoreless innings in the 22-inning joke game betwixt the Padres and Rockies last night.
