If Zimm walked all 4 at bats, that doesnt end his streak either right? Since they're unofficial at bats and whatever?
nah that would end his streak

move along folks nothing to see here.
zim extends his hitting streak and adam dunn and dukes (struggling is his first name) left a man on third.  dagger.

You're still ALIVE?  Didn't we LOSE last night?  Somebody fell down on the job...

because he was great in the Carolina League playoffs last year and they had to put him on the 40 man roster to risk losing him to other teams. Apparently they liked what they saw from him. He has really been struggling so far this year in AA though.

Would be nice to see Dunn put it in McCovey Cove a couple times this series.

yeah but that first at bat didn't help.

good first inning for the crab, let's hope he can keep it up.

it really hurt we couldn't put the damage on randy johnson early on there.

I believe we would have to put him through waivers like we did when we took Leonard Davis off the 40-man roster a month or so ago.

He chimed-in back on page 2 and said Dukes was "due for a big game/bomb".

Can't argue with that   lol

yeah. he throws a hard low 90s sinker and has decent breaking stuff. He was a former 1st round pick by the Braves but had TJ surgery a few years ago. We got him in a trade for Daryle Ward.

Hopefully he finds his groove soon in Harrisburg.

That's not true.

"According to the Official Baseball Rules, such a streak is ended when a player has at least 1 plate appearance and no hits. A streak shall not be terminated if all official plate appearances result in a base on balls, hit by pitch, defensive interference or a sacrifice bunt. A sacrifice fly shall terminate the streak."
