looking back, it's still not the worst line-up we've ever fielded.  i mean we had belliard as a clean-up hitter at one point didn't we?

we win 6-3.

Is there a chance the game gets postponed?  Looks like it's gonna rain all night.

I might have given Morse the night off even if he was not praying to the porcelain idol (or whatever is his illness).  I like loading lefites against that load Blanton.  Stairs will mash him, then we can go defense with Pudge (oy).

on the one hand, at least we're facing Blaton.  On the other, it would really suck to get no-hit by him.

I'm not sure where all of the negativity is coming from about this lineup.  Not only is this not the worst Nationals lineup of all time, this isn't even the worst of the season.  The Cora-Hairston lineup in Florida wins the prize for the season.

This lineup is full of people (including the pitcher, excluding the #8) who can hit.

I can't believe you guys think Blanton is going to no hit you. He's only good for 4 innings max.

LaRoche tried to talk his way back in lineup "I did everything I could do except throw blows." Trainers want him to rest at least 1 more day

Our 3, 4, and 5 hitters are out.  That's good news for any opposing pitcher.
