Look at Gameday, the first two pitches to Pujols were strikes.

Anybody lookin at tha game could see that those were strikes???

Props to our analysts tho. They never complain about tha biasness of tha umps. Can't ever confuse those guys our being homers

Carpenter said we have the second lowest ERA in the NL.  Wonder where we stand offensively?    :?

Why even give Harris an at bat?

That wasnt a bad swing by Harris, it still resulted in an out but it was hit hard.

Milledge with a terrible misplay in the outfield. Our pitchers give up lead-off doubles every inning.

Milledge is a good example of why u don't use ur glove to pick up a ball that stopped moving.

What's really frustrating about this game is that our line-up was owned by Kyle Lohse - that guy our front office was so sure they didn't need because Odalis Perez and John Patterson were going to be perfectly sufficient!

Pathetic Ayala.  This team is not doing one thing right.

our outfield fielding is suspect. i actually miss nook out there. dont miss his bat, although you wouldnt notice it's ineffectiveness with how bad we've been at hitting lately

At least the Phillies, Mets, and Marlins lost... sigh. We could have been in first with a win today (or in any one of the last 4 games).

Standings after this loss:
Atlanta 3-3
Florida 3-3
New York 2-3
Washington 3-4
Philly 2-4

For whatever consolation, the Nats are percentage points above the Mets

One of the worst series in Nationals' history.  We have played awful, just awful but we have suffered from some of the worst luck I have ever seen.

You're right, 9th out of 16.  Guess I heard him wrong.

He may have meant that our bullpen is second in the NL.

Hey I was thinking, We probably won't win much this year. So we gain experience for a guy that could help us for a while our young players continue to improve. This will help in the lognrun

I'm going to channel wpa (only I think I have legitimate cause) and say the umpire today was awful. His strike zone changed as the game moved along
