So when the current agreement btwn owners and players expire, Selig will leave that mess to the next commish!

Commissioner DOES NOT = Best Interests of Baseball. It used to! Not any longer.

This is the owner's present to Selig for not giving them up during the Congressional Hearing. That is exactly what this is. How convenient the timing.

The timing is certainly suspicious but this has probably been in the making for some time. I don't get how this can be allowed to go unchecked.

Yeah, I heard that too. That was my same reaction. He said several things that were disturbing. He's going to write a book. He thinks he did what was in the "BEST INTERESTS OF BASEBALL"
