We are hitting the ball tonight, but have had some baserunning errors.

What would it take to make Chad the closer again?

Well for starters we'd have to have a lead in the 9th

*sigh*

A save opportunity would help.

How much do guys you think that playoff-like hockey helped the Caps at the end of the reg. season? I think that was key b/c it gave our young guys a feel for what the playoffs were going be like.

That was huge because it was like game 7 every night.

Another baserunning mistake.  Could have cost us a big inning.

Are you serious, Aaron?  This team is dumb as freak.  If I was Manny I'd rip the team in the presser and start throwing chairs after the game.

We've got to be the worst baserunning team in the majors.

Johnny reminds me of Vince McMahon in this player name commercial...  anybody else with me on that?
I missed that commercial.  How does he remind you of VinnyMac?

That was the case in '05, '06, and '07 as well.

This team's collective head is just not in the game.  Way too many dumb mistakes.

Can't put my finger on it, just something about his demeanor and the way he talks to the guys mispronouncing everyone's names.  Especially when he's telling them about Fukudome.

Chief has nothing on his fastball, still.  He's topping out in the mid 80s.  No way in hell he can close with an 85 MPH fastball.

Chad is hurt and he's not telling any body.  Something is not quite right with him.
