I know they were a little too patient in the past with veterans and Desmond is not a veteran and shouldn't get the benefit of the doubt yet but I would give him another week to show something. Also, moving him down in the lineup seems a better solution. I believe you suggested demoting to the minors. Besides, do we really want to put up with hammonds' whining about his favorite player (KID 
)being demoted?
he's not my favorite player by any means. if i were to have "a favorite player" it'd be ryan zimmerman and not even close. i like the nationals as a whole and CMD can vouch for me. i just think desmond is going to be a good one, just like espinosa.
