Crazy, Stupid, Love.

Really enjoyed it.

Ryan Gosling kills it as the ladies man who teaches Steve Carell to get his confidence back as he works himself back into the dating world. Lots of laughs, and I genuinely cared for what happened to the characters. Well worth a rental... and in my case, a DVD buy after the fact.

watched the gi joe 2 trailer about 34 times already.  looks amazing.

and what's great is there is a way they can bust out destro/CC at some point to set up for the third flick (or late in the 2nd).

and seeing the White House draped in Cobra Flags was awesome.

yeah he's on the the Cobra Moccasin (hovercraft), just can't tell at what point in the movie that is. 

have heard some interesting rumors about duke too. 

i'm so excited to see this.

they did a great job with the costume.  i know the studio was worried about what kind of mask he was going to wear.  in GI Joe: ROC, the initial plans were to have him have the hood mask but they were afraid people would attach CC to the KKK (which for me I never thought of).  I thought Joseph Gordon Levitt did a decent job and the costume wasn't bad, but the helmet shield mask in the second one looks bad ass.  That was my favorite CC growing up.

From the looks of the trailer SPOILERS ABOUT DUKE AHEAD Looks like he dies in the attack at the beginning of the trailer... or at least is taken out for most of the movie.

linty, in regards to spoilers ...

i don't think he gets killed, but either injured for most of the flick or gets captured.  someone made a joke about him being the new cobra commander.  i laughed.

G.I. Joe 2 looks better than the first, but it's a stretch to say that it looks good. It still has Channing Tatum, which loses it two stars instantly.

1st one wasn't good, but to me it wasn't bad either.  it was a summer blockbuster action flick with some of your favorite characters as a kid shooting lasers at each other on the big screen.  now the plot had millions of weak spots and flaws and the acting was pretty crappy.  wouldn't put it in my top 50 or anything.

but this one looks like it could be a pretty damn good movie.  you see cobra, you see some more joes and this one is supposed to be more plot than action, which is going to be awesome.
