- Accept defeat - The curse lives on - Start watching Caps to continue the viscous cycle of Washington sports failures
It's a great asset to be able to do that. But it is extremely difficult to do. Werth is a master at it. Harper is getting better at it. But beyond those two, who else is capable of doing it?
sadly, the one thing you can most surely count on, is that 'harper' will contribute next to nothing.
RIP Sunshine Slate.
He died in Game 4. He will never be back.
If we win the WS who's going to be the first to post "fluke, will never happen again!"
Patient at-bats. Knock off a ton of foul balls. Channel your inner Werth and get that pitch count up. Knock Hill's pitch count up. Their bullpen is toast and even though everyone is getting a day off today, it's a travel day. well, they probably flew overnight but landing at 7 in the morning aint exactly restful. So take advantage of the fact that their bullpen was worked too hard and get into it.
if this was futbol and a national team, we'd have a crowd outside the Didgers' hotel singing and banging pots all night.
