The key is scoring more runs than LA. Remember you read it here first.

It's a great asset to be able to do that. But it is extremely difficult to do. Werth is a master at it.  Harper is getting better at it.  But beyond those two, who else is capable of doing it?

Everyone did it in game 1.

sadly, the one thing you can most surely count on, is that 'harper' will contribute next to nothing.

Just like yesterday, when he had what Daniel Murphy called "the at bat of the game."

Patient at-bats. Knock off a ton of foul balls. Channel your inner Werth and get that pitch count up. Knock Hill's pitch count up. Their bullpen is toast and even though everyone is getting a day off today, it's a travel day. well, they probably flew overnight but landing at 7 in the morning aint exactly restful. So take advantage of the fact that their bullpen was worked too hard and get into it.

if this was futbol and a national team, we'd have a crowd outside the Didgers' hotel singing and banging pots all night.

Or pulling fire alarms.  I seem to recall that happening when the NY Rangers were here the night before an NHL playoff game.
