Wow, I have to say, you're a pretty talented hitter.  All of the Nationals batters have hits except for Kearns.  Geez, even Rauch got a hit and RBI!

Washington Nationals (?) @ Atlanta Braves (?)-Wow sorry about the lack of records, I'll get them in every game from now on  :halo:
L 6-3
Game Notes: The Braves just out did everything the Nats could do in this one. They outhit, outran, and outpitched the nats in the series opener. Bergman's first start this year was not a good one as a grand slam to Adam Laroche highlighted the braves day in the bottom of the fourth.
Box Score:
Soriano 1/4 RBI .323
Lopez 1/5 3K .259
Zimmerman 0/5 2Ks .241 (mini slump, uh oh)

Kearns 2/3 R 2RBIs K .286
Church 1/4 K .318
Anderson 1/3 .348
Gonzalez (Wiki, no Harper) 0/3 R BB K .000

RBI Renteria (1). Laroche 4(6) Smoltz (1)

Reitsma 0.1IP H 6.75
Baez (S, 1) 1IP 1H K 0.00

Player of the game: Can't be anyone but Adam LaRoche, his grand slam was the highlight of the night, and put the Braves ahead, and kept them there

 Well hey, you didnt do that bad in the game that you DID play in, 12 hits and two batters with 3 hits.

That intentional walk puzzles me, walking Zimmerman to get to Johnson.  But you probably made Ryan better than Johnson, which no doubt he is.

Washington Nationals (3-5) @ Atlanta Braves (4-4)
W, 9-1
Game Notes: The Nats really came back to make up for the garbage play they brough into the first two games of the series, and they leave Atlanta with a bang after this 9-1 win
Box Score:
Soriano 3/5 2R RBI .325
Lopez 2/5 R .278
Zimmerman 2/5 R RBI .250 (hopeful slump breaker)

Byrd 2IP 3H 2R 2ER K 2HR 9.00
Colon 2IP 3H 2R 2ER 1HR 5.79

Player of the game: Nick Johnson, his constant offensive heroics from the season and into the games always seem to keep the Nats alive in any game when he comes up to bat. Today he knocked in two HRs and four RBIs, who knows what he's capable of in a full season without an injury! *knocks on wood*

Zimmerman has slightly better power numbers than Johnson, but Nick has contact and plate discipline numbers that own Zimmerman so that puzzled me as well.

Done for tonight. Goodnight all

I made a huge error in this game because instead of going to the box score, I clicked advance to next game, and from there, there is no way to get the box score, so I'll throw in some extra things to try to spice this one up.
Arizona Diamondbacks @ Washington Nationals (4-5)
L, 10-5
Game Summary: Although the Nats brought there bats out this game, it just was not enough as the Diamondbacks doubled what the Nats had thrown out there. Livan Hernandez made his return to RFK tonight as the starter for Arizona, he matched up against Tony Armas JR. Hernandez had a 3 run gem going the whole time he was in (8IP). To go along with the gem in his return to RFK, Livan hit a HR.

Here is an after game interview with Livan Hernandez:

Q. Livan, how does it feel to return to your old team, and show them a performance like that?
A. It feels great, It makes me feel good that I can come in here and pitch. It was also nice to have the fans behind me, and I feel very good about how I did.

Q. What was your first reaction when you were traded?
A. In all honesty I was not very surprised, the team had publicly stated that they were going for youth, I wanted to be here for that youth movement, but in the back of my mind I knew I wasn't going to be.

Q. When you hit the HR, how did that feel?
A. Amazing.

Q. If you could change one thing about your experience in Washington/Montreal what would it have been?
A. Nothing, the organization was great to me.

Q. How is life in Arizona treating you?
A. It is great out here, the fans treat me great with ovations every game, the owners and manager are very nice, and it is a fun ballpark to pitch in, hopefully I can stay there a long time.

I can get the linescore though (Arizona first)
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 R H E
0 2 0 0 2 0 1 4 1 10 15 1
0 2 1 0 0 0 0 0 2 5 8 0

Arizona Diamondbacks @ Washington Nationals (4-6)
L, 8-6
Game Notes: This apparently is not one someone would call a pitchers duel of a series, although Brandon Webb started the game for the snakes, the Nats were still able to put runs on the board. In an 8-6 game in the bottom of the ninth with runners on second and third with two outs, Ryan Church flew out to end the game.

Florida Marlins @ Washington Nationals (5- 8 )
W, 5-0
Game Notes: Stellar pitching all around and key offense helped the Nats take this one home, and make up for the sweep by the snakes sweeping this two game set against the Marlins
Box Score:
Marlins:
Delgado 0/4 .400
Helms 1/4 K .314
Cabrera 1/3 .281
Olivo 0/3 .244
Sanchez 1/3 .185
Encarnacion 0/3 K .265
Ramirez 0/3 .235
Ramos 0/3 K .235
Wayne 0/2 .167
Willingham 0/1 .333

Pitching:
Wayne (L,1-1) 6.1IP 9H 4R 4ER K HR 3.86
Castillo 1.2 3H 1R 1ER 2K 3.86

Nationals:
Soriano 2/4 2R RBI .356
Lopez 2/4 2R RBI .264
Zimmerman 2/4 2RBI .255
Johnson 0/4 K .327
Kearns 1/4 RBI K .261
Church 2/4 .267
Anderson 2/4 .375
Schneider 0/4 K .175
Traber 0/2 .143
Ward 1/1 R .500
2B: Zimmerman (2)
HR Soriano (2)
RBI Soriano (6) Lopez (2) Zimmerman 2(12) Kearns (6)
SB: Anderson 2(5) Lopez (3) Soriano ( 8 ) Church (2)

Pitching:
Traber (w, 2-0) 7IP 3H 2K 3.18
Wagner 1.0IP K 1.54
Schroder 1IP 5.63

Player of the game: Billy Traber, if not for his high pitch count and low stamina, he was staring straight into the face of a complete game shutout, he pitched a stellar game and hopefully we will see more just like it in the future

Done for today  :D

I am enjoying this.  Though, on a side note, the interview with Livan, ehh...he's so much more open than that.  He would speak his mind.  "The Nationals pissed me off.  I hurt my knee, but I pitched anyway.  I rule."

Well, maybe not. :)

Anyway, keep up the good work with your dynasty.

Are you playing MVP on your computer or on a console?  Because, if you are playing on the computer, there is a way to output box scores, but I don't know how. :)
