Not many people who switch hit should actually be doing it. Espinosa should be switch hitting.

Too late to be ROY? :D

Hopefully he can keep this up in 2011.

I loved seeing burnett in the bullpen holding the ball asking, "Grand slam?  Was that a grand slam?"

Something tells me he is done with the minors. Forever! Remember when we were all crying about no middle infield prospects?

Anybody else notice how Dunn and the fellas turned their backs to Danny when he scored?   That is "welcome to the club young man".

Well, I think we've found our 2nd baseman for the next 10-12 years.

Can this month vault Espinosa into a possible top 10 MLB prospect for next year...or would he even be considered a rookie by next season?

This would be a good situation to get Balester some work.

Went back to watch the Mets broadcast of the Slam.  They said the Mets have give up 11 Grand Slams this year, most in franchise history.  They've hit none.

September callups remain rookies for the whole next season. I think he is a prospect until he starts the year in the bigs, at least in my book.

How can the Mets keep Perez in the pen for a MONTH without using him? Talk about playing with 24 men!

just tuning in, but got the game on early enough to see Espinosa's bomb - he's going to make a lot of people forget about #37 if he keeps hitting this way.

I guess Olsen is in line for the W?

Looked to me like Dunn thought it up.   He had the biggest grin of the three :)

Yeah, you have to haze the rookies.

Most wear pink backpacks... and usually at some point, the whole dugout ignores the kid after they hit a HR.

Dunn is the best teammate anyone can have. Very funny and doesn't take life too seriously.

man imagine 2012 with Strasburg Zimmerman Harper(call up) Bernadina Espinosa Desmond Ramos Zimmermann Storen. Just those guys alone have me pumped thats not even including any guys in the minors/free agents/and guys that might break out.

The future looks really really bright.
