Willingham's BA went back up over .300 and his OBP is over .400 now. Also his slugging has to have gone up several point so his OPS should be approaching .980 or so.

Dunn gave him some tips
this is accurate. someone asked RZ the other day how Dunn has helped him the most and he said just watching Dunn's approach and patience at the plate all this season has taught him to become a more patient hitter.

He used to be a first pitch swinger and did not take many walks. Not only does he get more walks now but he also gets better pitches to hit because he does not swing at as many bad pitches out of the zone.

I said it tongue-in-cheek but I'm not surprised.

what's the highest run total since we got the team in 05?
2008 the Nats beat the Braves 15-6 in Atlanta

NEVER be embarassed ... we were all one toke over the line (LOL).

To be fair, they say "21st century schizoid boy" as the song fades out in the original version. Another Bad Religion track steals the riff from "Double Vision".

Which goes to show you how great a pickup Dunn was for the future. His batting average is just an extra surprise

I have a special dislike of Kevin Gregg if only because he was part of the Marlins team that whooped us all over the place last year.

So I get home from my softball game tonight and come home to this!  how great!  But damnit, I sat Willingham in my fantasy league with this terrible slump he's been in.  We get another grand slam, that's sweet.  What is that now for us, 5 on the year?  I love the professional handshake Dunn and Willingham have going.  That's pretty cool.

Jesus Flores had his first career walk-off hit (2-Run Double) off of Gregg at RFK in '07.

Yeah, that was good to see, especially since he started by doing the WMP dance with the low and away slider. Mike Morse is healthy competition for Dukes. Dukes wants to be patient and be selective. Eckstein needs to close a couple of holes for Dukes and he could be scary good.
