Oh, and we use our entire bullpen save for Stammen and Burnett on the start of a seven game home stand with no off days. Super.

Michael Morse breaks a brand new humidor-treated bat.
What are that odds that he tries to us Super Glue to put it back together?

GAME OVER.  WE LOSE.

EPIC FAILURE

Err, not really nice weather. It was sprinkling off and on the entire game. Temperature was great, but the sprinkles of rain and the fact that we only lucked out of avoiding a few showers from the radar made it a rather crappy, dreary night.

This was by far the worst game of the year. I'm not exaggerating on that one. Not only the scoreless, lack of hits, Livo decimated, destroyed by a first time starter with a 7+ ERA, by a horrible team, who just had their manager quit on them with 0 notice, under an interim third base coach who had no time to prepare and has no clue what he's doing. That's all bad enough. But this team put up one of the most pathetic performances I have ever seen throughout the past two 100 loss seasons. I've never seen a game where they gave up like they did in this one. You could tell they all, every single one of them, wanted to be anywhere else but where they were and put forth zero effort.

Don't believe me? Just find a way to watch the eigth and ninth innings. It was sick and disgusting. I had a hundred, make that a thousand times more fun at the Phillies Opening Day game this year at Citizens Bank Park South. Just horrible.
