That wasn't even a close out.  He never touched the plate.

Molasses Vidro got it in his head that he is a fast runner.

and Guillen swung, The JOSE Way, at a pitch that bounced to the plate.

our offense is improving, little by little.

one of these days we are just going to bust out with a 5-6 run inning, and then after that we will be back in business.

if we can get the bat to Eischen we could do it, he has a .500 average.(doesnt matter that its really only 1 for 2)

Eischen could lift his average to .667 with a little luck

I thought we were going to get it tonight in the 7th, but Church decided to look at 2 straight pitches down the heart of the plate.  This was the at bat that cried out for a hero and he came up with called strike 3.  Typical.  The Wilson acqusition sure seems to have sent Church into a downward spiral.  He is bringing nothing.

5 straight one run losses.  This is crushing the team.

THIS ONE IS ALL ON GUZMAN.  Without that error on the first play of the game we win tonight.  Sad, but true.  He cannot be in the line up tomorrow.  He just can't.

Rileyn, you made an excellent point about Church.  With Wilson on board, he is pressing way too hard in every at bat.  Guzman's mere presence in the lineup is sucking the energy out this team.  It's fast becoming a quagmire.
