I'm still mad at this team for getting swept in Atlanta.  This series shouldn't even matter.

Matt Stairs would have knocked that pitch out of the park.

Yup. Atlanta shouldnt lose a game the rest of the way. We might not win until the weekend but we never win in St. Louis so...

I'll take that bet SF. What are the stakes?

I'm still mad at this team for getting swept in Atlanta.  This series shouldn't even matter.

That's why I get pissed when we lose a game in April or May and people go "It's still early."  EVERY game counts exactly the same, whether it's in April or September.

Also, we had two losses in the last week or so that were arguably influenced by bad calls by the umps...

Kendrick totally dominated us last time.

The Nats are a sinking ship. That 9-0 collapse vs Atlanta will be the difference. That was a dagger.

The Braves let loose in their celebration.

After the way it ended for them last year, they should have.  Cool story for Freeman too, grounding into the collapse ending double play and then hitting the walk-off playoff berth clinching home run.  I know I'm supposed to hate the Braves, but that's just a cool story.

The Braves let loose in their celebration.

Just the first of many for them.

The Nats made a mistake not celebrating their playoff birth. May have been their last chance.

I'll bet on Atlanta losing 2 or fewer games for the rest of the reg season.  Avi bet for the offseason

I always worry a little when we win by huge scores.  I'm like "save some for the long hall!"  I know it cant be controlled like that but still.
