Morse has played in the Majors before. He can hit. And Bob and Rob were questioning whether he could play defense. From what I can tell he had good defensive numbers in the Minors this year.
Why even call guys up if you aren't going to play them?
Morse is a solid pinch hitter. I think they know that's what his job will be next season, so that's how they're going to use him the rest of this season. Makes sense. It's not an easy job.
