Nick Manno Answers Questions

The Nats asst. director of player development answered some questions.  This is the first I've heard of him but I figure he knows as much about the farm as anyone aside from Andy Dunn.  I just signed up for a subscription on that Capitol Dugout site, donno if anyone here has one, but here is the link to the interview.

http://nationals.scout.com/2/556386.html

I don't wanna make the people mad over at that site so I'll just mention a couple things from the interview to respect the other subscribers.

-  Says he isn't worried about Desmond and he's made a lot of big strides at the plate recently.

-  Believes Everts' velocity will come back in time and that its just taking a little longer to regain his arm strength.

-  Really thinks Bernadina could be an impact guy.

I'd like to share more but I don't think it would be right.  Hope that info is valuable.

 :)

Bringing up talking points is great Natsfan44!
I've seen Everts pitch a few times while at Potomac.  He had struggled each time I saw him.  I remember Bernadina too...well built, strong kid that seems to be their go-to clutch guy.  Would like to see him move up the ladder!

Yeah, Bernadina has a unique background.  Not too easy to become a big time player when you are living in Holland.

Apparently baseball has some kind of following in Holland.
They had a team playing in the WBC this past Spring.
