Really? He had his back turned, he had no idea where the runner is. Would you rather have him take all day and have the runner get back?

I wouldn't have even minded, but he just makes these really arrogant, "I'm better than everyone so I get to make spin-move throws" type of plays over and over.

Please don't bring up my love affair with the Marlins and Big Mike Stanton....

did you see the line drive he hit all the way to the outfield wall against the phillies tonight? Hunter Pence had to move 10 feet and it was hit so hard that he couldn't get there.

There used to be a head shop on Wisconsin Ave that had a black light in the shop window.  I bought my first double chambered there.

In the 70's I kept a black on at night all the time  ...   on Wisconsin AVE, NW.

I didn't see any arrogance... did others?

You admitted yourself his back was turned.  He should have taken the extra split second to reposition himself so he could a. see where the runner was with a quick glance, and (more importantly) b. POSITION HIMSELF FOR AN ON-BALANCE THROW.

One of those off-balance throws is going to get air-mailed or something one of these days.

Getting in on the ground floor has its eventual rewards.  Just ask an old Cubs fan.
