Fellow alcoholics (I mean excessive drinkers) are having an ugly Christmas sweater party.  Does anyone know where to buy one for guys ?

Anything for an excuse to drink ...

Doesn't matter what you wear.    Just go inbibe.    :)

If you're lucky, a local thrift shop might have one.

Otherwise you could try:

Bean offers their shirts in different fits also.  Tall, traditional, slightly fitted and slim.

Yeah, I'm a large tall. So the list of places I can get decent casual wear is like J Crew, LL Bean, ? a couple other stores.

I've been shopping at the elite designer shop in Pentagon Centre - MarShalls.  If you shift the accent and capitalize the S, it becomes much more classy.

Target = Tar-jhay

I've been buying Bean shirts lately, agreed.  And $42 is about what they cost generally.

I have been having trouble lately however with shirts being damaged in the washing/drying process somewhere.  Edges of sleaves or collars getting frayed.  Upon further exploration discovered corrosion on the heater box vent cover in the dryer.  Ground it off and bought some new shirts, hoping to not see this again.

No, it's there. I noticed the same. I turn mine inside out and unbutton the collar, which helps a lot. Mine wear out at the elbows, too. But it takes a year+.

It's not just the bean shirts for me though, it's any collared shirts.

Anyone try Allbirds shoes yet?  Got my first pair earlier today and they might be the most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever worn.

Never heard of them.  I worked for Thom McAn in high school & college.  How are these shoes different ?

These are walking shoes, not dress shoes.  They are incredibly soft, breathable, and machine washable, made with either wool insiders, or completely out of wool.  Plus all shoes come with a no-questions-asked 30 day return guarantee.  Check out the web site:  https://www.allbirds.com

I got the tree runners (which aren't quite running shoes).

Do they resell the returns that someone sweated in for 30 days?

SAS. Yeah they’re shoes for seniors and cost a small fortune but they are the most comfortable and longest lasting shoes I’ve ever owned.

I think they clean them and donate them for the write off.

If they're really machine washable and they made them available for half off or something, I'd buy a returned pair.

I wish they were more comfortable though...my Sketchers put these to shame...

These sold out in like no time, so glad I got them regardless...
