FFS = For Fu*ks Sake.  English.
Ahh, I see.  You can curse here if you want, the forum censors bad words by default for those that object.

let's take a look at Garate
Is he with the team?  Why not if he's available?

You can't score enough runs with this pitching.  :|  Not possible.

Seriously. what in the hell.

That was ALL Riggleman's fault. What the freak was he thinking just sitting at the top of the dugout watching Rivera give up hit after hit?

Morphing into an Acta clone.

Rivera gives up 6 hits and 3 runs in 2.2 innings. He has a 5.76 ERA on the season. why must we continue to use him?

yep

Quote
The Nationals on Friday officially activated left-handed reliever Victor Garate, the 24-year-old they received from Los Angeles as the final part of the Ronnie Belliard trade. Garate, who was previously at Class AA, admitted the jump was significant. "Yes," he said. "But it's exciting."

Hang on a mo - isn't Riggleman the same guy who breathed life back into this team?  He has the same players as Acta (pretty much) yet drags our win % up.

Does this team get the concept of "average"?  An average pitching staff shouldn't be the impossible dream for this team but it always is.

It's stunning, really.  >:(

Compiling an average pitching staff should be easy.  It's just average!

Dibble just said he saw Morse hit in BP and was very impressed. Said that we need to give him 500 ABs in a season to see what he can do.

Bear in mind I've never seen a live game and I'm not up to speed - but why do you thing the kids would do better?  If they sucked wouldn't their confidence be shattered?  This season is over - let's start preparing for the next.

Is that sarcastic or genuine?  One day I'll move to the US, and I don't get your humour yet  :-)

Exactly.  Play the younger players now so that we know what we have in them for next year.

A lot of these morons won't be here next year, certainly not starting. Morse is a very intriguing player and we need to see if his bat is really as good as it seems. Terrible horrible relievers like Villone will be gone - we need to see if the Garate Kid has what it takes. September is when teams try out the kids.

It cracked me the hell up. Great joke! Win and Fail are popular internet terms right now. Win is good, fail is bad, obviously. Your joke was a win.

except for the Nats who are the only team in the Majors that has refused to make their September call-ups because the Chiefs are 4.5 games back with 5 games to play. :lmao:
