rofl, just cause he got a hit doesnt mean hes going to be a HOF catcher. He makes a count 0-2 incredibly fast by swinging in the dirt then realizes he has to be patient. Im not saying hes a good catcher though.

If Zimmerman is injured, im going to be really pissed. Sure he'll be ready for 09' but i love watching him play the game haha

In 211 ABs this season: 7 HRs, 45 RBIs, 22 out of 60 hits for extra bases. With RISP: 63 ABs with 5 HRs and 42 RBIs. .381 Batting Average, and he has a freaking 1.131 OPS.

Maybe I'm just drinking the koolaid, but with a halfway decent lineup he is going to be a monster.

Will be the only team to have two separate 9+ game losing streaks this season?

I thought we were already on a 10-game losing streak. Did we not have one earlier this season?

Let's start by calling him a potential All-Star.

We'll probably have another one before the season is over.

There aren't many catchers I'd take over him for the next 10+ years. Maybe Martin and Mauer and even that's debatable.

There will be more great ones coming up in the next few years.

Orr 2/2. He doesn't want to be released.

I'd take him over Felipe.

Since this game is most likely done, I'm going to do some digging and compare star catchers first 400 ML ABs. It isn't fair either, because he had no experience above A Ball before last season.

At some point you have to stop saying that about him. That fact cannot be changed so it could still be used as an excuse 10 years from now. Are you willing to make the same excuse for WMP?

I am pretty sure Lopez is history after tonight's game.

2 one-pitch outs in one inning. Gross.  :spaz:

Figures that we would bend over for awful ass Kyle Kendrick.

He's walked Burrell to lead off an inning twice in one game.

Let's start by calling [Flores] a potential All-Star.

Unlike Zimmerman, who bats around .215 between April and early June, every year.

WANTED:
GM, manager, Hitting coach, 3rd base coach, pitching coach

Earl Williams, Piazza, Matt Nokes, McCann, and Fisk are a few that I know of that started their careers off on a high note. That's good company for the most part.

That's insulting. The Phils are just toying with us. They know they have more than enough runs so they are just running into outs so they can end this game and get out of town.

Not a bad plan, if true.

I don't know if they are doing it on purpose but they might as well be. They know 5 runs will be more than enough against our sorry squad.
