Human eyes can't focus on two spots at once, this is a stupid debate. There's no conspiracy, only human error. All the more reason for Robot Umpires.
I wouldn't go as far as Robot Umpires, but instant replay for plays like this should be used. This isn't 1960 anymore. The "human error" aspect of the game has got to go.
