Well I was planning to relax and watch the Nats game tonight. I guess I'll have to come up with a Plan B.

This was a huge start for Bergmann after having an outing with mixed results last time out and he failed MISERABLY. I wouldn't send him down immediately after the game but his leash should be very short. Any other outings even close to one like this he should be sent packing forever. Clip and Mock are dominating in AAA and would be more than happy to take his spot.

I somewhat agree, but O'Connor never had a good start here this season.

that was his only start, as far as I recall. so he never got the chance. I'm not saying O'Connor didn't deserve to be demoted, I'm just saying that he got smashed, and then got demoted. bergmann gets smashed time after time after time, and he gets a pass because of 1 or 2 starts where he is competent.

He's got better stuff. I'm not disagreeing that he probably should get demoted if this continues, but he's not in the same crappy league as O'Connor. O'Connor's in the Major Leagues of craptiness; Bergmann's in Single-A.

It's really odd the amount of run support Lincecum usually gets from them, though.

Alright, I'm accepting a loss here. That's out of my mind now. Let's just score some runs!

With an offense that's so terrible, being no-hit is almost inevitable. It's just a matter of time.

Well, it won't be tonight.  Now I can turn the game off.

Good patience, Boone. Lincecum has the complete game shutout in the bag.
