That's amazing. That strikes me as being low for here, never mind up there on the Klondike.
it's like $60/month with the budget plan and everything is gas.

Like I said, we keep the Nest at 60 and the exterior is stucco but there's little insulation due to the k&t.  When we replace the last of the k&t, the roof, and the windows it should go even lower.

turned into a massive amount of rain tonight, it doesn't sound like temps will get cold enough for snow/icing overnight.

Thinking about sending NBC4 weather an e-mail.   I'm gonna suggest they rename the "Storm Center 4".     They should call it "Missed the Storm Center 4".

Lots of ice on the cars and trees down here in Blacksburg but roads look ok.

Eastern Loudoun is relatively clear (no snow).    They're predicting snow tomorrow.

For once it's better to be in the west. OC getting 18 inches? Wow.

Where's that? Summit & Eagle Counties still have OK bases...not great, but good enough (Copper is 50" at mid mountain, Vail 41").

Any weather updates?  I was hoping for a nice coat tomorrow but it's looking more like rain now.

Loudoun has a pre-planned day off tomorrow.    We used to call 'em "teacher days".

It may rain or it may snow.  Or maybe both.

it looks like the DC area gets mostly rain, maybe some snow far west.

NYC-Boston is going to get absolutely hammered, 22-30" of snow, hurricane force winds.

In Hamden, CT. Last storm we had like this was my sophomore year where we got 41 inches and classes cancelled for the week, hoping for a repeat of that.

Just don't snow out the weekend's hockey games.  War on Whitney!  Sort of / The Whale is on Prospect St.

Right now, I'm thinking of my friend whose wife took a job out at UC-San Diego.  Had been up for one at Smith.  She ended up with the better deal, I think.
