....................

Billy Traber..................Oscar Villareal
3-2, 5.13 ERA................9-1, 3.97 ERA (mostly as reliever)

When the Braves gave Oscar Villarreal a chance to prove himself as a starting pitcher last week, he responded by throwing five scoreless innings against the Nationals. He'll attempt to do the same when he faces them again in the finale of a three-game series at Turner Field on Sunday afternoon.

The Nationals will counter with Billy Traber, who will be making his sixth start of the season. He's gone 2-1 with a 3.72 ERA in the four starts he's made since being recalled from the Minors. Although he allowed five runs in 5 2/3 innings, the 26-year-old southpaw still got the win in his Aug. 16 start against the Braves.

Washington

LF Soriano

SS Mateo
P Traber

Atlanta

2B Giles
SS Renteria
3B C. Jones

Robinson gives up on the game before it even starts.

I'm assuming day off

Lineup today looks weak but maybe they can do better than the guys we had out there last time VS Villareal.

Benching Vidro isn't exactly running up the white flag...

Benching three regulars is dangerously close.  (Johnson due to injury)

I even think both of their shots would have gone out at RFK.
