Office 2010 has gone GOLD!

In non-grandiose terms, Office 2010 has been RTM...and will be available on Technet on April 22.

I've had that happen before too.  I think it is usually bonus tracks that they don't have.

For me, it's always in the middle of the album :bang:

Happened to me uploading mp3s purchased from Amazon - 1 track just didn't match.

yeah, it isn't as bad as it used to be. i like the new design, and Facebook Connect is really easy.

so what are the best non-"Ville" facebook games/apps?

i'm also curious to see the facebook email system whenever it comes out.

I really only use the regular stuff - photos, groups, fan pages, etc.

Some people really like Mafia Wars, though.

I haven't heard about facebook email....where did you hear about that?

Interesting. I wonder how they'll do it...I don't have much issue with the current messaging format but wonder how an e-mail system could improve it. Definitely going to keep an eye out for it.

Does anyone here use the DownThemAll Firefox extension?  Is so, how does it work?

I go to youtube, for example, clink on the DTA button and get a long list of links, none of which appear to be the video that's playing.

There is a Greasemonkey script called Keep Tube that works very well. I never liked DownThemAll.

I need a good video splitter for XP. Avidemux is okay, but it's a little slow. Any recommendations?

Virtualdub is what I typically use.  Might be a little limited depending on your codec support needs, though.

Yeah, I have that, too. It's great for avi's, but it's definitely limited.

I need something that can split any video file. I heard there was a plug-in for Media Player Classic (or maybe it was for VLC) a while ago, but I can't find it.

Tried using input plugins or the directshow driver plugin?  That makes it a lot more versatile.  What kind of videos are you working with?

Yeah, but I haven't found a way to make it work with mkv files yet. That's what I usually need it for. I could always convert and then split, but that's a nag.

You know, I've got a bunch of stuff I saved INTO mkv, but I've never had to edit an mkv file yet.  Probably a little short-sighted on my part...  let me know if you find anything good.

Avidemux works with every file, but it's slower than the other programs I've used. It's not bad once you get used to it, though.

I know there has to be a better option out there somewhere. I have Sony Vegas here, but I really don't want to have to use that just for quick splits.

How is it slow?  Are you just splitting and copying the streams or are you actually transcoding your splits?
