I'm all for getting guys playing time, but this is the major leagues and Kennedy is killing the TEAM.  Honestly, this teams fielding is just brutal and our pitchers are not good enough to overcome. I hope Strasburg strikes out 27 tomorrow.

Such BS.

well - the defense spots the indians another run and riggleman has spotted them at least 2-3 with that sh*t lineup.

Hit batter on a 1-2 pitch, error, sca fly.  Yeesh.

Does anybody else notice Zimmerman standing further off the plate the last 2 games and a more open stance?  His plate coverage is compromised when he does this = 0-5.

It's a sad state of affairs when you are playing with a DH and our 6-9 hitters are Harris, Bernadina, Kennedy, and Nieves.

I'm sick of watching these minor league bums on the mound.

Why Harris AND Kennedy together?  This what makes no sense.  They're not Siamese conjoined twins.  You can play them one at a time...but you shouldn't play them, period!

The important out is the third out, Bob, not the second!  Martin could serve one up right now so that second out would mean nothing.

This ain't the CFL, Bob.

England of course! After the performance today I am hoping that the blind patriotism that grips this country soon fades away to uncover the distinctly average team we are! You guys are not as bad as everyone thought and we are nowhere near as good as people have us marked out to be, trust me. I am an avid football fan, and despite the disappointment of the result it did win me some money, so not all bad!

On the Nationals front, can't wait for Strasburg tomorrow, I'm meant to be revising but the day after his debut I watched his K highlights at least 6 times (solid procrastination), it just looks like we are letting this fantastic start stutter a little, here's hoping a few key pitchers coming round to health improves our fortunes.

We're back to where we were last year with a AAA level pitching staff (except for the new guy). Sigh....

I'm not high on Detwiler so far but [almost] anything is better than this garbage.

Stammen has already given up four hits, including a home run in 2 innings with the Chiefs.

When's Olsen back? I haven't seen any news since I've been away.

No-hitter broken up. Now there's no reason to watch this train wreck.
