I like the "virtual line" better than the virtual waiting room

Do you get the point of a PRE-sale and password syatem?  To reward people that have had loayalty in the past?

The point is to get the tickets in the hands of Nats fans, as opposed to visiting fans and scalpers, and while I obviously have nothing against scalpers, I do want to help Nats fans on this site get tickets.

Time like this when I really appreciate ticketmaster - they do a much better job with large volumes of traffic.

It's also a real pain when they show sections available that really are not, and trying to switch games is a task too.

Having no luck yet. I'm using the free Wi-Fi at the mechanic and it boots you off periodically, so the odds of getting in are probably about zero. I have my phone running too (on cellular data) and no luck there either.

Oh well, I guess the money I won't be spending on tickets can go to the car maintenance.

There are single tickets but that's crap. I really want 2 together.

Nats need to implement a process with unique presale codes, then tie the code with the tickets purchased and track Stubhub/Ebay for the ones listed right away

I see StubHub already lists SRO tickets for NLCS Game 1. Right peculiar, that, if they're not sold until game day.

They have that, the bar codes, and they make a ton of cash from resales which is why they have a deal with Stubhub.

There was a brief online sale after the season finale.

I must have missed that, but then we were on the road driving to Ohio that day so I'm not surprised if I missed it.

I finally got 2 tickets together in the 200s for home games 2, 3, & 4, but they were each $20 more than I was expecting. I had the PERFECT seats the first time - 400 level, 2 together for each game - until the MLB's servers died on me. I'd really wish they'd get more server power, or just outsource the job to companies like StubHub or Ticketmaster who know how to handle events like this.

I should be able to stubhub some of these babies hopefully - just put them at $5 or $10 lower than the lowest prices going for that section and they should get gobbled up - and use the profits to buy seats in the 400s. Still a pain though.

Bleugh.
