Livan Hernandez, RHP (12-4, 3.32)

Brian Moehler, RHP (6-7, 3.56)

Game Time: 1:05 PM

MLB.com Scouting Report:
Hernandez will face the Marlins for the fourth time this season. He is 0-1 with a 3.43 ERA against them. In his last start, it looked as though Hernandez's 10-game losing streak against the Braves was going to come to an end. The last time he defeated the Braves during the regular season was on Aug. 18, 2000, when he was a member of the Giants. Hernandez pitched eight innings and allowed one run on five hits. He struck out five batters and walked only one. But the bullpen lost the game in 10 innings, 3-2.

Unsung for much of the season, Moehler had his four-game winning streak come to an end last Tuesday in a loss to the Pirates. In five July starts, the right-hander is 4-1 with a 5.20 ERA. His 4 1/3-inning outing against Pittsburgh was his shortest stint as a starter this season. Moehler has allowed 41 hits and 16 runs in 27 2/3 innings this month.

It wouldn't surprise me... Maybe winning without our best lineup will help everyone get a boost coming back to RFK

C'mon Livan, we can't afford to be down this early...

Ken, you don't have Fox up there?  They're carrying the game today.

Well the way Encarnacion swings the bat against us, a sac fly is not a bad result.

Ah OK.

Agreed, for bases loaded 1 out with Encarnacion up, ending the inning 1-0 is not bad at all.

if they say anything about why Wilkerson isn't in the lineup, post it here... if Frank maybe doing his "keep the outfielders fresh" thing again?

Interesting news, if not a bit strange.  Doesn't change much, though.

Does anyone know if the 4PM non waiver trading deadline is eastern time, or dependent on the local time for each team

Yea, since any starts by the 4th OF will be taken up by Church, they might just want Cepicky's bat off the bench
