I think Pudge had to be talking to Livan about pitching around him

Livan's luck has finally run out. We may as well just get no hit, who cares

Don't burn the BP on this.   Let Livan go the distance.

Edit:   Good Riggs, please just burn the butt ends of the BP.

Agreed, may as well even with off day tomorrow. Let him suffer, this game is over

Here you go, Livo.

Share it with the rest of the team too.

10 Ks :lmao: Going to be a no hitter for sure. But Sanchez may not last the whole way because of pitch count

Now I agree with you for today's game... He gets a million a year and gives us six innings no matter what, that's what I'd ask out of a 5th starter. Sure he started as #1 to begin the season, but we have four other guys pitching better, so for all purposes I see him as the #5. He's okay in my books. Besides, we can't talk too much junk about him, I don't want a Puerto Rican gang at my doorsteps at night...

This is a career high in strikeouts for Sanchez and it's only 6 innings :?

Pudge is chattin' with the ump between pitches.   He may get tossed.

Coffey looked pretty bad on that.    Suck it the freak up.   Take two salt tablets and drive on.

If this holds up it will be the first-ever no-hitter against the Nationals since the move; the last no-no against the combined Expos/Nationals franchise was on 18th July 1999, by David Cone of the Yankees in an interleague match (score 6-nil). The last no-hitter against the Expos by a National Leaguer was by Tommy Greene of the Phillies on 23rd May 1991 (score 2-nil).

Marlins pitchers have thrown four no-hitters...most recently by today's starter against the Diamondbacks on 6th September 2006 (score 2-nil).

I don't know what's more depressing - spending the weekend in the most depressing college town in the United States (Morgantown, WV) or coming home to watch us get no hit by the Marlins.
