Um...Sen2005, I hate to be the one to say this, but that score's a bit optimistic.

Hmm...I think I need to not watch this game.  My logic is as follows: when I left during the Mutts game, it was 8-0.  The next time I turned it on, it was 8-6.  I immediately turned it off again, not wanting to be disappointed.  The next time I checked, it was 8-8, and I said "screw it, I'm gonna watch."

We promptly lost.

Therefore, maybe if I go listen to The Fall or read a book or something, we'll roar back and actually GO AHEAD.

Come on Christian.  If you don't get a hit at least work the count.

Why was Vinnie Castilla trying to steal?  Who called that?

It was supposed to be a hit & run...but Carroll couldn't hit the sweeping curve.   :(

Someone tells me our GENIOUS MANAGER did, and now there is a player on second with two outs, instead of players on second on third with one out

Stupid move.  Instead of having an effective pitcher sacrafice he sends up a valuable pinch hitter and calls for a hit and run with the slowest person on the team on third base.  So now Careseco is out of the game and there are two outs.   Nice move.

That may have been Jamie Carroll worst at bat of the season.  I can't believe that was all his doing!
