2013 is the last thing on my mind right now. :minigunz:

Doesn't it feel amazing that we haven't spent the whole season thinking about being better next season?

Do you mean that the Dodgers will be visiting Yankee Stadium for the first time since 1978?  I seem to recall a World Series between these two teams back then.

Even more recently, 1981.

yeah i know that's what i said.  i'm just saying to close a season, that's pretty difficult.  i have faith we'll be back in the driver's seat next year too.

MLB should have parity scheduling like the NFL so that we play extra games against the division winners and fewer against the bottom dwellers.

Disagree.  In a long season like MLB uses, a balanced schedule is better IMO.  Not sure they can fully achieve that, but I think that should be the goal.

Correct me if I am wrong... But didn't MLB have a balanced schedule in the 1980's? Everyone complained about that because teams were winning their division by beating up their non Division opponents....

what difference does it make if you are beating up on bad teams if they're in the other division or if they're in your division.  The best teams are going to separate from the pack whether or not they're playing a balanced schedule or a division heavy schedule.  It makes the most sense to me to play as balanced a schedule as possible in the name of fairness.

Probably going to come to DC in another month next year.  Only weekends in September are the Phillies and Marlins.

The Dodgers played at Yankee Stadium in 1981.

The Braves have released their spring training schedule, of their three home games against the Nats none of them occur during FFX County School's spring break.  Ugh.  Hopefully the Astros will host us for a game or two and save me a lot of driving.
