Who would you guys rather have - Hultzen or Bauer? Personally, I'd prefer Bauer, but I'd be happy with either.

haha i'd just be happy to have either. if i had my choice, hultzen.  but that's just barely.  again either one would be awesome.

Zduriencik is a huge fan of Starling apparently. Wouldn't that be interesting if he went at 2.

If we pass on Hultzen - if available - for Starling, I'll be freakin pissed.

Hultzen.

But after Gammons' chat about him I'm not so sure.

what were his concerns?  wanting too much money?

if that's the case i have faith we'll get him.  outside of  crow we've gotten all our top guys and have gone overslot (cole/solis/ray) more so than nagging out (holder).

Hultzen. Definitely a huge fan of the St. Albans product (even though i didn't go there, they never really competed with gonzaga) and the fact that he's really, really good.

Starling reminds HR of Stubbs.

I could see that.

Scouts.

That's how they do it. Doesn't make sense to me, at all.

Larry Green?

Poor guy is probably going to be sitting alone at the draft for a long time.

Said that switching to a five day schedule could lose some mph off his fastball. Said you have to wonder how effective pitchers are when they lose 3 mph.

He also mentioned med school, his $13m demand, and the fact that he's due for a big inheritance if he goes to med school (I think).

Getting ready to watch the draft.  Personally, I want Bundy with the top pick if he is available.  If not, I'd be happy with Starling or Bauer.

the 13 mill figure is agent BS. and he can go to med school whenever he wants. make your 8 mill now, play in the majors, then go to med school when you retire

He also mentioned the size of UVA's park as a factor many teams were considering when thinking about Hultzen.

Shouldn't there be a separate draft thread?  This isn't mock anymore!
