Anybody watch Falling Skies on TNT? I really liked the first two seasons, but I'm not a fan of how this season has gone. I liked when they were a ragtag group of underdogs fighting off alien invaders. Now they have other aliens helping them and giving them Halo-like weapons, it's kinda silly. We see it happen all the time with shows though, they start to sacrifice their soul to get more ratings.

Veep on HBO is freaking hilarious by the way. 3rd funniest show on TV(1 and 2 being It's Always Sunny and The League).

Anyone watch Revolution on NBC?  My brother got me watching it and I thought it was quite entertaining for the most part.

it's gotten a lot better.  i've stuck with it and i'm glad i did.

billy burke remains awesome, the chick remains hot and Neville is one of the bad guys you have to root for.  Giancarlo is a fantastic actor.

i recommend it, if you see the show for what it is.  kind reminds me of falling skies (acting has some good and bad, plot holes all over the place, but it's a cool concept and i've stuck with 'em).

This is exactly how I feel.  I thought when the show came back in the spring the first couple shows were terrible.  I DVRd the next few and waited to watch them.  I thought it got way better.  Very happy I decided to keep watching.

Yeah, he did. I was wondering though what would've happened if he fell? They can't show him dying on live TV right?

Naked and afraid is the most unintentionally funny show I've seen in a long time

It's got sloppy writing and some of the actors are terrible but the show is okay enough I guess. It won't last past a second season.

Anyone catch Under The Dome on Monday? It seems interesting, but the characters really didn't do anything for me except the pilot from Lost and Hank from Breaking Bad.

I was wondering how this show would be.  It didn't drum up enough interest from me to start following it.  Yet.

I thought it was OK. For a summer show, hopefully it will run its 13 episodes (or whatever number it is) and they'll wrap it up. It's a Stephen King story, so, it has that going for it.

Okay, question regarding The Killing:

If we are on season three, that means that the Rosie Larson thread was season 2, and the current one about Linden coming back as a detective for the missing runaways is season 3, then where do I find season 1?

Also, almost done with season 1 of American Horror Story on Netflix, where do I go next for my fix?

Aired today in the UK, it's on streetfire.net to stream now in the link I posted, it will air on BBC America next Monday (July 8).

A season in the US is usually once per year and 20+ episodes, I believe series in the UK are shorter and sometimes more than once per year.  For instance, Top Gear series 19 was in the winter and 6 episodes (well, the Nile special was shown in 2 parts) and now series 20 is running in the summer for another 6 or so episodes.

Loved the Nile episode, though I'd love a geologist of geographer or someone to confirm it was actually the source.   Or maybe they did somewhere and I missed it...

New show on right now (9pm) on CBS called Under The Dome.  It is based on a book by Steven King and Steven Spielberg is the producer.  It is awesome in a way that King's books are awesome.

It wasn't the source unless you use their convoluted logic
