The HBP was the killer. If he had gotten the second out, who knows. the inning may be over already.

Okay, Det did an incredible job tonight,  but time for a reliever.

Should have yanked him at the balk.

By the by, one of the most. No, the most important series of the year so far. Hot and humid as crap night out. I mean, I don't ever recall it being this hot and humid after 10pm. Late night game, great game. Only 8 pages?!? Where on earth is everyone tonight?

Yeah, these storms look like monsters and past the mountains, combine the 90 at dark heat and insane humidity? Going to be some of the worst storms in memory. I'm glad as hell I got a generator a year and a half ago... haven't used it once, no snow or bad storms in 16 months. But I suspect tonight it will come in handy. No AC on a 90 degree night would drive me nuts.

Whomever called for that curve ball there should be dumped.

God awful pitch. Inexcusable.

It's a cliche now on this board, but game.

The cream of Atlanta's bullpen comes in now, and we lose this in extras.

ATL only 2.5 out of first place now, could easily overtake us by July 4.

Nice job Davey

Burnett should have been in the game after the Prado base hit but no one was warming.

Still, that was an inexcusable pitch from Ross/Flores. He was late on fastballs and swung wildly at a changeup and then they decide to throw a curve ball. Bad, bad pitch and location.

It was a terrible pitch, I don't think anyone really "called" for it to be thrown there, in that way.

Ross, as always, falters at the end. Just doesn't have the endurance to pitch 6-7 quality innings every time out.

The bullpen should have been up sooner.  Detwiler should have come out sooner.  A defensive move should have been made for Lombo - not that that homerun could have been caught.

I don't care where the pitch was. It was still an idiotic pitch selection. Bouncing it would have been okay but I would have gone after him with a fastball on the outer half.
