i can't say I'd want to run into "bone-crusher" Kearns, either.

Wow that was some freaking great fielding guys, world class

Logan clearly shied away from taking the hit to make the play there.

Logan was calling for Kearns to back off.  Austin didn't.

The point is Kearns was the guy in charge...and if he didn't call it, and Nook was yelling that he had it...then it's Kearns fault.  Kearns should have backed off since Nook was saying he had it.

<sigh> How are our young people ever going to survive with today's education?

-itus is a suffix to indicate "condition of..." then add the root word stud and you have your definition.  Gosh, Kim I thought you were a journalism major!

Here's another example of that logic:

Monkey is a word meaning a certain type of primate.

-pwned is a word meaning to get owned.

Therefore, Monkeypwned is a word meaning to get pwned by a monkey.

Nook didn't want to collide with Kearns, so the ball falls in and the Reds score.  (But not Dunn.)

Valentin homered to right, Hatteberg scored.  BAD WOOKIE!

Nationals 7
Reds 8
