What happened to the Ivy in the outfield?  Is this a new look for Wrigley?

how predictable of the Nats to bend over for Soriano and turn his season around this series.

It would be great if Zimm and Dunn's BA's converged, even if just for a day or two.  The meltdown from SF would be epic.

Want an impressive stat? Zimmerman has hit into 16 DPs(the most in all of baseball) this year.

It's been so dry that it died.

No he would find a way to minimize it (defense is the equalizer of all things when it comes to the great Zimmerman, at least that's his justification when it come to Wright and Zimmerman).

Heh, I thought you were joking when you said Nieves was calling a terrible game.

well, at least Stan will be happy. He loves hosting the opposing team's fans, rather than his own team's.

I thought you were pulling our chain.  I've really got to stop giving too much credit sometimes.

I don't know about that.  I bet Nats fans drink 3x as much so it's probably a wash :glug:

Carpenter just gave a plug to all the fans that come out to support the Nats. I don't think he's paying attention to the opposing team's/home team's fan ratio.

if it were Nieves, you'd blame the pitcher.

Yeah, then they pan a shot of the crowd and you see a sea of blue hats.

What's even worse id that I started the game thread and posted our lineup. Talk about being a moron.    In my own defense I've almost completely tuned this team out and I had someone here for the first inning of the game.

Time to bring in Taverez, he knows how to clean the bases of Mock's runners.

freak you Bob. youth is no longer an excuse. Mock is 26 freaking years old.

Bard is 31 and he can't even stop a freaking ball.
