There you go Burnett. Two back to back innings by the pen.

It's a start.

Linty is choosing to remain positive and find a silver lining.

I just got home and turned on the game. What happened today? Did Mock get bombed or was it our bullpen?

Try both. Mock was bad and Tavarez helped out. Then Villone, refusing to be outdone, came in and contributed to the debacle. The defense did their part as well.

I think you missed the big picture.  We suck either way.  Dumping Kearns for nothing may be the fan-pleaser thing to do, but it's not smart.  Keep him and see if you can offload ANY part of his contract in any way possible, and if you can't, THEN you dump him.  I'm pretty sure that's the point Minty was making, and I agree.  Sorry but we suck no matter what, ditching Kearns just to make WNFF happy is not smart management.

fine. keep him. whatever.

Only positive out of this game is Soriano can still hit, even though he's not a Nat anymore he's one of my favorite players and watching him lately until the last two nights he's been pretty awful. I still wish he was here because either way he won't win a world series.

Oh I forgot, you know everything about baseball. I guess there's no reason to be hopefully for anything.

Ever.
39 games under .50...

none of this game means crap. these relief outings are pointless. The Cubs' hitters just want to end the game to go chug beers and eat food in the clubhouse.

Zimmerman with another web gem.  He's up to +12 for the day.  NatsZimmerman wins 15-11.  Suck ass Dunn at -5.

Is the game still on? I thought we had moved all discussion to the EA video.

Oh come on, I know you better than that.  At least give me a real opinion.  I don't mind if we agree to disagree, but there's no need for the snark.

WE need two grand slams to send this baby into extras so we need base runners.

I don't see how keeping him benefits the team in any way, shape or form. He's useless and utterly untradeable.

so basically we're just keeping him around to fill out a jersey.

I don't understand why getting rid of every other bad player and manager is acceptable, but getting rid of Kearns is not.

if getting rid of Kearns is "bad management", then so was getting rid of Cabrera, Kip Wells, and Saul Rivera. And so would be getting rid of Tavarez, Belliard, and Mock.

was that a fun series or what? props to all the Nats fans that had the guts to attend a game in this series.

Is it safe to say that this is another lowest point in franchise history?

The lowest point has an anchor attached to it so that it sinks deeper and deeper each day.

it is going to sink even lower when Livan shuts us down again tomorrow even though he's been terrible lately. :(

MASN got in his ear. bullcrap. He said a lot of fans were telling him just that. I hate these type of fans.

Dibble has been talking to nospin. He claims that the Nats fans he's talked to say they are just happy to have baseball in Washington.

it's easy to see those type of fans on here because most of them have stopped posting on WNFF.

WNFF - where people actually care about winning.
