I cannot believe how you can hear everyone's conversations - what a terrible place to play baseball

Please, Kearns hit that ball over 400 feet ...

That wasn't a complete rip on Kearns as much as it was criticism of the team as a whole, as currently configured...

The player's wives better watch what they say in this park or risk revealing too much...

OK Jason, can we try to keep 'em in the ballpark?

I understand what you're saying - but under the circumstances the statement didn't make any sense - a ball hit 400 feet is a BIG knock and pretty much a hr almost anywhere - "better players" don't hit the ball much further than that ...

Though of course I agree - the lineup needs some help in the offensive dept ...

But keep in mind my comment was in reference to the concept of 'luck' and turning our fortunes. That usually happens when you have better players on the team.

It would be ideal if we could find a trading partner in the next 2 weeks that would be willing to deal for both Belliard and Young. I figure that their value would escalate if they were packaged together.

That was a terrible at-bat for Zimmerman.
