Believe it or not when I was 7 I cut open my index finger with a butter knife... Of course I was using it as a hammer at the time, maybe that's why I got cut...

Drese has become Dread.

Has anyone noticed how well Claudio Vargas has been pitching of late?  I wonder if it has anything to do with better coaching than what he was getting here?  So much for our special Eyes In The Sky (Rijo, Larkin & Boone) to help our Neanderthal staff on the bench.

The first cut is the deepest...

I just realized something...we shouldn't be getting very excited.  We only scored those runs so that it would make it a ONE RUN GAME.  <sigh>

We had the guy we wanted at the plate.  He just didn't get it done.  The song remains the same...

TIMELY HITS!!!

THAT more than anything has been the reason we're struggling.  It's not ONLY Guzman and his anemic BA.  Getting TIMELY hits is EVERYBODY'S PROBLEM!  It doesn't always have to be HRs!! HELL, ATL scored the winning run on a damn BLOOP hit just the other night!!  If Church was able to get something similiar just now, TIE BALLGAME!!!

Carroll-Wilkerson-Vidro in the 9th.  Whiffing boy in the middle there needs to do something dramatic for a change.
