Now Evaluating The Soriano Trade With Texas

I just want to mention that all those "experts" said that our Soriano trade was better for the Rangers.

I can see why they say that because as it stands now, they are right - but having Soriano around for a year was better than having Wilkerson & Sledge around for a year.  It was good for Nationals marketing and put fans in the stands.

Losing Wilkerson in the long term maybe not as good as two second round picks - but it's not as big a loss as losing the trade value that Soriano should have bagged for us.  That was the ultimate loss for us - which I have mentioned now ad nauseum.
