He's only overrated by some of the people here. Most around the league see him for what he is, a solid above average player but not a stud like some of you are convinced he is.
yet...

yet...

He's having his best season (I think) but that doesn't make him a stud. Some moron mentioned the other night that it's nice to have a guy like Zimmerman who is good for 25+ HR's and 100+ RBI's. Maybe I don't have my numbers right but Zimmernan has never hit 25 HR's (this will be the first year he does it) and he has only driven in 100 once. The same person dogged Wright for being overrated and listed his bad power numbers from this season yet failed to mention that Wright has actually hit those marks, 25+ bombs and driven in 100+ RBI's, 4 straight years.

3rd base is not an elite position. How many 3rd baseman are better in the NL?
Mark Reynolds and Kung Fu Panda this year? Maybe Ian Stewart. David Wright is having an awful season with no protection in the lineup.

What does the EZ stand for?

That was what eagleskins referred to all the hispanic players because so many hispanic last names end in the letters EZ.

it was quite amusing.  then we all finally realized that hernandez/gonzalez both aren't MLB players.  so it kinda just stuck.

I think he was slated to hit 3rd but when they pulled Willingham from the lineup they moved him to the 5th spot.

eaglEZkins also included players like NievEZ and DukEZ on his list of players he hated. But he liked FlorEZ.

As to what was mentioned before.

Martin and Mock are both pitching similar and kinda lousy. Martin seems to be doing alright for his first stint in the majors. Mock, on the other hand, has been up here 4 times now and is pitching lousy.
