Not sure if it was here or the MLB board, but an Ankiel fan came on and said that he will get unbelievably hot for a few weeks at a time, really carry your team hot. We seem to be seeing that now.
I've always wondered how much pitching for so many years has made him a better hitter. Then again, it's not like Lannan is a good hitter, but still.
