Come on, stop it. That's just awful.
Boone hit by pitch.
Belliard doubled to right, Boone to third.  NOBODY OUT.
 :pimp: :pimp:
Jesus strikes out..,

Paul Lo Duca - AVAILABLE FOR THE RIGHT TRADE - had A FULL count singled to center, Boone and Belliard scored, Lo Duca to second advancing on throw.  Lopez grounded out to first, Lo Duca to third.

He's been hitting pretty well the last few games.

I know...his double last night almost left the yard. Nice to see him coming around. How did the walnuts nickname come about anyway? I just used it in my last post but I honestly have no idea what it means.

So far, he's cost us $277,777.78 per hit.  FREE BIKE STILL PART OF TRADE!!!!

So unless a trade or a release takes place one of Nieves, Shell or Casto will be demoted tomorrow. Any thoughts?

Or anytime Carpenter makes a mistake or uses the hypothetical question like "This wouldn't leave th yard would it?" or "He wouldn't walk the pitcher would he?".

If we really want to get nice though we would drink anytime Debbi Taylor says something stupid.

Anytime Debbi Taylor talks, drink AND cover your ears!

I wish it would be Wily Mo, but I'm thinking Nieves at this point.

I usually keep a trash can near when she talks in case I have to puke.

Is this because Austin Kearns is returning?  I'd guess Casto.  We have lots of outfielders.  But I'm betting that a multi-player trade could be in the works soon.  Lopez COULD be playing shortstop for a reason today!!!    Just a feeling that the Orioles want him...

Is this because Austin Kearns is returning?

Kearns will be back in the lineup tomorrow night. I think they may wait on the Lopez deal to see if he can somehow manage to hit well over the 4 games in Cincinnati like he did last year in hopes of increasing his trade value.

I don't think it'll be Nieves b/c Acta's made it pretty clear that he wants both Lo Duca and Flores to get as many ABs as possible.

If it's going to be one those three, I'd say Casto.

Harris safe at first on shortstop Ramirez's fielding error.
Interesting that he's batting 2nd.  Maybe somebody gave Manny a Spanish version of baseball stats.

ELIJAH DUKES grounded out to third, Harris to second.

But sending Nieves away is almost like sending an OF away, because it would mean no more OF duty for LoDuca. To me, Casto has value as a pinch hitter, so I hope they keep him around. Plus he can play multiple positions. To me, pulling the plug on Wily Mo is a no-brainer here. But I'd be shocked if they did it.

haha Casto is a funny dude.

I'd rather have him here over Flop.  At least he wants to be here and the guys like him.  Also a better defender.

It would only be temporary since we expect LoDuca to get dealt soon.

On another note, with the way things have gone with our injured players I wonder why they just don't go ahead and have Zimmerman have the surgery so he can be ready for '09. At this pace we're going to learn in late August that he's done for the year and will have the surgery and not having it sooner will delay his return to form that much more.
