Fact:

Our Starting Pitching is terrible.

I'd rather have Livo, Tony Armas, and Ram Ortiz. I just don't know how in the hell we can start this poorly after having just done the same thing the prior year. Why don't we ever learn from our past mistakes??

Big time, it's not even close.  Last year we were expected to be the worst team in ML history. This year we had hopes for the Wild Card, especially after starting 3-0.

Learning from past mistakes costs money.

Nice hit CG. He's our only bright spot.  Still down 5.

Milledge is a bad #2 hitter. Ideally he'd hit 7-8 but it's not like we have anyone else to hit that high in the order.

Zimm is looking like he is going to have an Andruw Jones type year.

Again, with the way we hit with RISP, we'll need 5 more homers just to tie the game.

We need to keep him and re-sign him.  Who else are we supposed to start at SS next season and beyond? I'd give him a 3 year deal.

I like Lo Duca there just because he doesn't strike out much and he hits the ball hard almost every time. Milledge's extra pop would be better lower in the order. Especially when we don't have WMP and Dukes.

Furcal. But I wouldn't be upset if we kept Guzman.

It got BETTER last season in the second turn.  We got quality starts out of Hill and Bergmann.

This is maddening.  St. Claire has serious work to do.

So does Spin Williams.  Get our minor leaguers ready.

Bergmann now has a WHIP (walks + hits per inning pitched) of 1.74.  No pitcher should be allowed on a MLB team with that.  It's stealing ticket money from the fans/suckers.

I am very disappointed in Bergmann and Redding. They looked good all Spring and then when the regular season starts they completely fall apart.

Jacobs is going to hit at least 35 this year.
He hit 11 in like 100 AB once

He's pitiful.  What a complete nightmare of a season.  I'd just assume we be winless like Detroit.  At least they were never teased of success like we were after starting 3-0.
