I didn't think the story was necessarily bad, but the dialogue really fell flat. Remember when Anakin says, "I don't like sand. It's coarse and rough and irritating. ...." What kind of way is that to come on to a chick?!
He finishes that line by saying "and it gets all over the place." I'm pretty sure he winked at her then.
