A one-run lead in this ballpark is like a two run deficit.

Yeah, but he scared me there for a minute with the strike 2.  I can't take this much more, I'll have a heart attack at 24!

I'm following gamecast (espn) and saw a very low pitch as strike 2 swinging, I didn't know he tried to check his swing.

"7 runs should win a game"

definitely, Martis blew this one tonight.  A good pitcher can rebound from craptastic outings like this.  Will Martis?  Hopefully.

Did Manny leave Shairon in there just so he would be in line for a W?

What are you new here?  We're ALWAYS losing unless we just happen to be in the lead after the final out.

I'm now convinced that the Nationals will NEVER finish a season over .500 until PC gets an avatar.  He has well over 10,000 posts.

No, he would have been in line for the win anyway. We went ahead at the top of the 6th inning

According to Gameday pitch tracker, 3 of the 4 called balls on that walk were actually strikes.
