Can anyone think of a failed reliever converted into a successful starter- this would be a great story if it works

What are some examples of failed relievers becoming successful starters? There are guys like CJ Wilson, but they were good in relief too.

Ignoring the whole thread?

It'll be interesting to see how Franklin Morales does.  He's gotten shelled the two times he's faced the NYY as a starter, but, other than that, he's been very effective.

I held off on that post because I knew that would be the reaction.   The only other mediocre reliever I can thinks of who has had some success as a starter recently has been Scott Feldman.  Maybe Tyson Ross, but I would not call either of these guys or Morales consistently good.

Edit - actually, the best I can think of recently is probably Justin Masterson.  Where's tribe time?

6 is the limit, the 7th is sure to be bad?

Waging the good fight, Linty.   Truth, justice, and the American Way.  To remain silent would imply acquiescence.

Among the hot buttons of injustice, in no particular order:

-Invoking the mythical "law of averages", like saying something is "due" when there's no support for it other than a string of recent opposite results.
-Jinx fairy, any superstition at all
-Fly balls don't carry as well in humid conditions.

I tolerate a few other indiscretions better - "loose" in lieu of "lose", for example, or "Strassburg".
